Dear Youth and Families,
I just wanted to let you know that our youth event for June will be going to Six Flags! We will be going Thursday June 10th. Meet at the church at 10:00am and be back by 5:30pm. The cost will be $25.00 per ticket - let me know if you need help with cost. Final headcount will be needed by Sunday June 6th 2010. There will be a signup sheet in the youth room. This event will be open to both confirmation and high school students. Please pack a sack lunch for the day. If you have any questions please feel free to email me. Mark your calendars on Saturday, July 31st St. Mark's will be having our one day VBS. It will be a great day of fun, learning and service. We will be needing volunteers to help out with kids and the service projects. More information will be coming soon. Please contact Halle Warmbier or Lisa Albers if you would like to help out.
The June Book Study is coming up! This year we will be reading "The Great Divorce" by C.S. Lewis. The book is a fictional look at what Heaven and Hell maybe like. Books are available through the Learning Committee. The Book Study will start June 6th and take place during the regular Bible Study hour before service. We welcome all high school youth and adults even who haven't read the book. Please contact Trish Winchell or Halle Warmbier for more information.
