One ELCA Member Dies, Many Lose Property in Minnesota Tornados

CHICAGO (ELCA) -- At least one member of the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in America (ELCA) died, while others suffered minor injuries and
lost property June 17 in a series of tornadoes that struck throughout
Minnesota. Among the areas most heavily damaged was the town of Wadena in
northwestern Minnesota.
