St. Marks has been asked to provide 50 personal care bags for St. Philip Lutheran (Immanuel Lutheran closed and merged into St. Philip) by May 20th. They hand out these bags once a month and have a shortage for May. The bags contain a toothbrush, toothpaste, face cloth, soap, deodorant, razor, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and shaving cream. WELCA and the Service Committee have agreed to take on the project. Please bring sample sizes of these items to church on the 6th and 13th and we will see that the bags are delivered to St. Philip by the 20th. Any leftover items will be used for our next personal care bag project benefiting Gateway Homeless later this year. Thank you for your support.
