Last Call!

Last call for the Pastor Call Committee is approaching. We are nearly ready to finally select our Call Committee.  We have been fortunate to have several members step forward and ask to be a part of this process.  If you have any interest in serving on the call committee and you have not spoken to a council member, now is the time to step forward.  We will elect the call committee at the Council meeting July, 9th. Please contact Andy Ford or the church office  if you would like your name to be included.

During Backyard Bash, kids will discover how much fun service can be and they will be challenged to serve their families, friends, neighbors communities, and Jesus. At Backyard Bible Club, kids will commit to serving!

We will be offering an adult portion during VBS for parents and grandparents on how to talk about faith with children and grandchildren.  Pastor Jeff will lead this initiative called Vibrant Faith that is all about passing on the faith to children and grandchildren.   It focuses on 4 practices:

  • caring conversation
  • simple ceremonies
  • service
  • prayer and devotions

with lots of information on how to do these things effectively in the family.  This kind of approach is more about how we can help you and your family raise children of faith, which was the original idea behind Martin Luther writing his small catechism."
