Parents, please be reminded that there will be rehearsals on Saturday, December 7 and Saturday, December 14 from 9:30 am to 12 noon. All children 1st grade and older should plan to attend both rehearsals. The kids will rehearse lines and staging as well as be fitted for costumes. (Younger children -kindergarten and pre-school- need only attend the second rehearsal.) Also, please plan for your child to attend Sunday School on December 8 as we will have additional rehearsal/staging time during the Sunday School hour. Can you help?
Would you be interested in changing the front sign? You would change it weekly for a month and we have a calendar already set up with what the message would say. How are your computer/PowerPoint skills? Would you like to be a part of the communications committee and lend a helping hand to keep our TV message board up to date? I am looking for volunteers to take the message board responsibilities for a month a time. If you are interested in either of these talents, please get in touch with Beverly Velloff.
Youth
Holiday Service Project
Southside Youth Cluster Holiday Service Project for Humanitri for all middle and high school students, today, December 1, 2013 from 3-5 pm at Gethsemane Lutheran Church on Hampton. We will be baking/ decorating cookies to benefit the holiday party being given by Humanitri. Each congregation has been asked to donate cookie dough or cookies (10 dozen). Is St. Mark's up to the challenge? Are there a few students who would like to join me in the effort to serve others in our urban community?
We are also asking each student to bring a gift or toy for a child age 0-17 to be donated to the Parents Shop which helps parents provide gifts for their children during the holiday season.
On Sunday, December 8 from 6-8 PM, there will be a High School Open House at the home of Rhonda Dunbar, 114 College Drive, St. Charles, MO 63301
