Hi All:

 

We just had our annual Letter Carrier Food Drive and received approx 250,000 lbs of food which we need some extra help to pack it up for distribution.

 

We had only a little over half of our 170 volunteers show up that we had scheduled to pack it up Saturday evening at our warehouse which kind of leaves me in a bind and we have excess food scattered around the warehouse that I would like to get taken care of fairly soon if possible.

 

I am trying to recruit an additional 4pm-7pm shift for this coming Saturday or at least add extras to the earlier shifts. If there is not at least 20 people for the 4pm-7pm shift, I probably won't have one and will just have the two earlier ones where I am adding additional volunteers to the already scheduled groups.

 

If you can help this Saturday please let me know BY E-MAIL  and by noon on Friday  5-15-09.

 

These are shifts I am looking for help on over the next week or two in particular:

 

Sat          5-16-09       8am-11am or 12pm-3pm   up to  30  Volunteers per shift  or  4pm-7pm up to 50 maximum

 

 

Wed      5-13-09       4pm-7pm      up to  20  Volunteers maximum

 

Thur       5-14-09       1pm-4pm      up to  30  Volunteers maximum

 

Fri           5-15-09       9am-12pm       or         1pm-4pm        up to  20  Volunteers maximum     per shift

 

Mon      5-18-09       9am-12pm    or            1pm-4pm        up to  20  Volunteers max (early shift)  up to 40 (late shift)

 

Thur       5-21-09       9am-12pm    or            1pm-4pm        up to  10  Volunteers maximum     per shift

 

Tue        5-26-09       9am-12pm    or            4pm-7pm         up to  20  Volunteers maximum    per shift

 

Wed      5-27-09       9am-12pm    or            4pm-7pm         up to  20  Volunteers maximum    per shift

 

Thur       5-28-09       1pm-4pm                                                   up to  20  Volunteers maximum
