Hello Everyone,My name is Shanon Langlie and on Sunday, a few members of the newly formed ARCH young adult group at St. Mark's thought it would be fun to meet this Wednesday at the Whitaker Music Festival at the MO Botanical Gardens.
For those of you who are new to town (like me), the Whitaker Music Festival is a free outdoor concert series that takes place over 9 weeks in the summer. The music style changes each week and this week Vince Martin will be performing. The performances are in the garden, so you can bring all the things you'll need for a picnic--food to eat, beverages to drink and chairs or blankets to sit on.
Doors open at 5pm.
Music starts at 7:30pm.
Noah had offered to go a little early to try to find us a good spot. Anyone else want to join him?! I'll be there after work (probably 5:30 or so).
Please reply to me and let me know if you are coming (that way we are sure to save enough space for everyone to sit). And feel free to invite your friends to join us--the more the merrier!

For those that can't make it this week, you should try to go next week. The music group is Miss Jubilee and the Humdingers and they specialize in Hot Jazz, Swing, and Rhythm & Blues music. That music is so fun and lively that you'll want to get up and dance!
