Cluster Youth Retreat
Dear Friends,
The search committee for a shared youth worker has scheduled a cluster youth retreat for Friday and Saturday, August 3 and 4.
Beronica Mead from STHS, youth from both our congregations, and I have planned the retreat but we need help from other congregations to supply adult chaperones (one per congregation) and take charge of one of the following: Friday dinner (making pizzas as a group), Sat. lunch (make your own sandwiches) or snacks (soda, chips, s'mores, etc.)

August Sociables to Terre Du Lac, Saturday, August 18, 2011
The August Sociables, on Saturday, August 18, will be boating, tubing, swimming, fishing and fellowship at the Sorrell's lake house in Terre du Lac (about 60 miles south of St. Louis). Maps will be available in the back of the sanctuary. The address is 10329 Rosemary, Terre du Lac, Missouri. It is best to follow the directions on the map provided as many subdivision roads are not paved and in poor condition, but GPS systems use them anyway.
It's an all day event - 11:00 until whenever. The Sorrell's will provide pulled pork and chicken and sandwiches, soda, juiceboxes and water. Please bring a sidedish or dessert, swimsuits, sunblock, floaties, towels, and lawn chairs.
